Leaking at the base of dishwasher!

<< < (2/3) > >>

BrntToast:
your LG d/w is leaking from the vent blower, where it connects to the tube that leads to the tub.... i know this cause they all leak there, seal it up with a good water proof sealant, dont bother ordering new parts cause they will leak too, the tube and blower attach backwards

remove the front panel and look around the blower on the left, you will see the water marks and the insulation will be wet if you have done a complete cycle lately

as for no drain, you have to get that pump out and look inside it, cause there is something in it

cswake:
I'll look at the blower when I get home. My brother ran a 120v line to the pump, as well as a continuity tester, and neither worked. I'll order the pump as well... =/

A assume you're talking about the tube F042 on page 45 of the previously linked service manual? What do you mean by "the tube and blower attach backwards"?

RegUS_PatOff:
I think he's talking about K110 inside the door on page 50

BrntToast:
ok,  page 50  k110 has the female connection, k124 is male  as we all know water flows downhill and k124 has a crappy foam/cork gasket, its gonna leak, the plastic connection should be female on k124 and male on k110 so if the gasket didn't make a complete seal it would still just leak into the tube instead of around it and into the inner door

they are all going to leak, its a design flaw

seal em up cause even if you order both parts new they are still backwards
