Leaking at the base of dishwasher!
cswake:
This is a brand new LG dishwasher that has been in storage until now (>1 year), so it is out of warranty on parts & labor. (LG LDF6810) I had it up and running for about ~2 weeks. Now the unit has stopped draining and there is a small leak at the base. It is neither the inlet nor the seal on the door.
I noticed that there is already rust on a part that is between the tub and the drain hose:

Could this be the culprit? Also, is there a place I can get a blueprint for the entire dishwasher? (LG isn't making it available)

Hi cswake
The photo links do not seem to be working.
Could you check them or upload the photos to the Photo Gallery.

Updated. Could I connect a 120v line to this rusting auxiliary pump?

Yes you should be able to. I see it say's 120v on the pump.
Can you hear the drain pump trying to run during the drain cycle?

The rust looks like it maybe just from sitting around in storage.
I have not worked on many of these myself. Maybe another tech can tell you more about it.
