Bosch Clothes Washer AXXIS, won't run

Hello,

This unit is less than a year old and the service guy said that I must have over soaped it and there is nothing I can do to get it running again myself.  It stopped working the same week as the range and the dryer, but it does seem to have power, unlike the other two appliances.

I tried clorox and vinegar.  I got it to run a bit and there was a lot of soap.  But after that small success, it still just makes a clicking sound when I try to wash.

Thanks for any suggestions that might help.

You need to flush the machine out, somehow. Repeated rinse and drain will do it. Trouble with foam is that it can fool the water level system into thinking it's full when it isn't, so you may need to fill the machine manually through the drawer a few times.

Check your powder - the top loader powders you have over there are not suitable for front loaders.

Model number would be useful as well.

Thank you for your reply.  I used the HE liquid soap, but I may have overdone it, as they are now doing this 2x and 3x concentration level thing, which may have confused me.  At any rate, I will try the flood and drain thing some more.  I refilled through the drawer and dipped the water out with a cup.

I will try a syphon and make a concerted effort to desoap.  At this point, I can't get it to drain or spin or anything...

Great news,

This is now running too!  After sitting since July and being variously filled with water and chlorox and vinegar, it seems to have cleared its over soaped condition.  Thanks again for posts to help with this.
