Originally, I added my question to the another topic since I thought it closely related. Big mistake.
Turns out the LAT2300AA is quite different.
To replace the tub seal, the outer tub does not have to be removed. I had followed general instructions and fought with removing heavy springs, hoses, and clamps.
For this model, only the inner tub needs to be removed. Seal lifts off center part of outer tub that forms a vertical tube in the tub. No need to remove the outer tub.
As for replacing the bearing, it's all back together right now. It would have been simple when it I had it apart, but I won't go near those springs again unless I have to. I'm sure there's a way to do it but I did it the hard way.
