broil won,t activate when broil touch button pushed. Also the numbers 7,8,9  won,t appear in display when touched. Cancel button works intermittently

All points to a bad clock. The broil function is sent from there. You can always test the broil element for continuity if you suspect it is bad. There is an electric range service manual on the site for your perusal.

I suggest you rummage thru the Frigidaire Oven manuals in the  Frigidaire section, as the Kenmore you have is made by them. I'm sure there are instructions for testing the electronic oven touch pad. Dust off your OHM meter

I would definetly put in the touch pad first.  The 7, 8, 9, indicates in that direction.  It still could be the board, but I would go touch pad first.    Tom  www.applianceeducator.com
