I currently have a Sears Kenmore Model 110.82781100 HD80 Washer. The symptoms I have are that it skips the rinse cycle; i.e., during the rinse and spin cycle, the washer pulses on for about 5 seconds, and then shuts off. There is no water pumping or draining out of the basin.
Based on my Sears Repair Manual, I am trying to remove the timer assembly, but I am unable to correctly remove the timer dial/indicator. I pushed in the Timer Knob, then turned counter clockwise to remove (I have the new design threaded Timer Knob). There is a plastic Timer Ring and the dial/indicator still remaining. The dial/indicator has 3 tabs around the inner circumference. I could not find any photos or steps that shows how the dial should be removed.
thanks,
