s3700e4ww leaking where the tranny goes thru the tub

I have a basic ge washer and it leaks in the middle where the transmisson goes in. Does the transmission have the seals needed or are they seperate from the transmission. n othere words with a new tranny will it still leak?? Is there a specific seal I need.  I am forced to fix this thru a warranty company !!!  tks   for your help   JPG
