If you look down at the bottom of the front panel you will either see a screw on either side of the front or 2 clips at the very bottom. Either undo the screws or jam a scraper under the clips and pull the bottom out toward you until it comes out a coupleof feet or so and it should come loose at the top.

Between the top & front panel about 1-2 inches in on both sides there is a spring clip,USE A PUTTY KNIFE or you will chip the top. Lift the top up. You will then see 2 screws facing forward on the front panel about 6 inches down. Remove those & the panel will swing down ,lift off tabs.

 Repair manuals and guides require you to use a putty knife to perform this procedure, but there is another method which is just as effective and will not harm the finish on the cabinet...


Everyone has a few dozen of these lying around...use them if you do not own a putty knife:
