My washer will not drain.   It gives an error code starting with SUD and then shows F-02.   It clicks but refuses to drain.   Everything else seems fine.   Any suggestions how I might reset things?

Here's the skinny on the f-02 code. It means the CCU is sensing a long drain out. This could mean that the pump or its filter is clogged or the pump is not working. You would be able to ascertain this by watching for water to be discharged from the drain hose when the  unit should spin.

The pump filter on the machine can be cleaned by removing the lower panel and unscrewing the plastic handle on the filter.

If the  filter is clean but the  water does not drain, the pump is likely bad. In rare cases, a bad main control board (CCU) is to blame for the F-02 code, but only if you have ruled out the pump/filter.
