may tag 5500 washer will not spin board ok black plunger

Helo im new this website
I have a 5500 .I just replaced the waste pump(bad check valve) and the washer will not spin the circet board ( no burns ) was replaced under warenty along with wax moter (black pusher) both look good. Also i checked the wax moter and it is seated against the right side pocket.I also pushed in the lock fork in, and exstended the motor out and it touches the switch to the right this was a manuel check.the lock light will not turn on during the spin mode.
I am not angree at this machine i will use this energy to fix the problem it is a puzzle and i will fix it WITH YOUR HELP

YAHO i fixed it this is what i did with the door off i started her up on the last rinse cycle (you have to hold the button in that touches the door ,also push the fork all the way back ) when it pumped all the water out the wax motor kicked in. It began to spin that was a wonderful thing. it ran its cycle and stoped Great . so i put it all back together for a test run fully assembled.IT DID NOT SPIN.so i thought it had to be the fork or the loop that attaches to the door. i had a piece of round stock same diam. of the loop latch and bent it 90 degrees then put it up against the fork it went right under it it never touched it.the ramp under the fork was worn down that was my problem. well I win again kept the service person out of my wallet now i will spend the money on another part

I know just what your talking about. Seen it a couple times before, but not all that often.

Could you get just the ramp anymore or did you have to order the latch assembly?

Yes you can order alone i have not recieved it yet maytag part # (22003055 ramp door loop ) also orderd the door latch hoop it is rusted.I am going to spray a clear laquer on the door latch hoop to help prolong the life of it. And i have a little trick to share with you happy maytag owners. Ok my ramp is worn down right .so what i did  I tied a peice of string to the door latch hoop back towards the inside door make it about 12" long. drap the rest on front of door .Now pull the door latch loop up about 1/4 of a inch and close the door slowly .This will put it into the fork and the machine will work .hay the wife is happy and it keeps the machine runing until you get the ramp.got to think outside the box.

Hi its me again just got done putting the new ramp door hoop the quality of the new one is light years better than the old one. whirlpool is making a difference in the maytag line, also when installing the new part rotate the fork back and the ramp will pop right in
