Evaporator Fan blade draging on motor mount EV201NXMQ05

What would cause the fan blade to slide back on the motor shaft. I have had 2
freezers in the past week +1/2 where I pushed the fan blade forward on the shaft away from the motor mount and they have run great, no vibration or other
obvious problem.  Thought it was odd the 1st time but here is another a week later, huh?

I have seen it. Get a piece of tape and put it between the blade and motor.

Some fan motors utilize a very small fiber washer on the motor shaft to prevent blade slippage.
Perhaps yours need this washer.

Thank you Folks I used a 1/4" strip of duct tape, but am concerned about it gumming up against the motor. I was thinking maybe I may use a 1/4 inch long piece of 1/4" PEX icemaker tubing in the further it this a common place thing. I ain't as crazy as I thought I was. Thanks again.

Locktite makes plastic threadlocking compound that may work if the parts are not worn out excessively. I would avoid the tape an tube proposition, tape can unravell and pose a hazzard, the tube will rattle around and could unbalance the rotor.
