Would not agitate then started working, then stopped agitating again. Smells like rubber burning. Black pieces of burnt belt or something underneath it. It spins and pumps fine. Its makeing a noise now. I just ordered a set of belts, I hope I can figure out how to install them.

Lean the washer back so you can access the main pulley. Remove the belts. Turn the pulley by hand in both directions. One way is spin the other is agitate. Then check pump pulley and motor pulley.
