any suggestions for a fix? I had a repair man replace the door switch just a month ago and everything worked OK until 2 days ago. Don't want to pay for another service call

are you sure there's no heat in the Regular Dry Cycle, not even in the first few minutes ?

OK I've done some close monitoring. Starts with heat, BUT heat stops after just a few minutes-less than five minutes before no heat

Thanks for the speedy response. I'm a real rookie at this. Can you tell me where to look for this item on the back of the dryer

After you remove the front panel you will see it mounted to the bottom plate of the dryer.
Turn off your gas and unplug your electrical cord first.

so, this is not accessible by removing the BACK. Top off first and then the front panel. This will be under the big drum then?
