Hey i have a problem with a kenmore washing machine,this machine,when put in fill mode will fill and agitate at the same time.(i am leaning towards the pressure switch)but when you put it in spin the machine will spin and fill at the same time.the machine is a top load and is about 10 years old,in the past the customer has had 2 motors put in which i think he did not need,1 timer and a wire harness,no yesterday another tech ordered a timer and i put it in and it did not fix the problem that i stated at the top,so that is why i am leaning to the pressure switch(unfortunately i did not have one)any other ideas???

The pressure switch is a SPDT switch as  shown on the diagram in the control panel wall. There is one common terminal and 2 position terminals, empty and full. Set your OHm meter on the highest OHM setting-

1. Touch and hold one ohmmeter probe to the terminal V.
2.  Touch the other ohmmeter probe to the terminal T.
3.  The ohmmeter should show an open circuit. If not, the water level switch is bad and
needs replacing.
