KENMORE REFRIGERATOR NOT COOLING, FREEZER COLD

About a week I have notice a drop in temp in the fridge, even with the gauge set to coldest.  In the past anything on top shelf  would get frozen, now I can barely keep the milk cold.  I have read about evaporators on other fridges, just trying to get a starting point on the way to try and correct this problem. thxs in advance

When you want to learn about something, whip out the book, I always say. Your fridge has some sort of defrost problems according to your limited description of the problem, but if you see frost on the freezer back walls, then you can pretty much confirm it.

Since your box is actually a Frigidaire in disguise, I will provide a generic manual which will describe how to check certain parts related to defrosting.

The cheapest thing to do is get out the old shop vac and clean them condenser coils. make sure that fan motor is kosher. makes a world of difference.
