Wiring my cooktop

Hi,
I bought a used GE Profile cook top. I've tried looking up on the internet and GE phone center for a manual with no avail. I live in Canada so I don't know if this has a bearing on my solution or not. My old cook top was wired into a small fuse box in my cupboard from the main fuse box in my basement. The wiring from my old cook top was red, white, black and copper. The wiring from my small fuse box is red, white, black and copper. The wiring on my new cook top is red, black, yellow, orange and copper. Where do the yellow and orange connect to.

The model number is J C3P508V188.
As far as where they originate from, I never took it apart to check, thought I'd ask around before I got into the "guts" of the matter.

If it was me I would check to see what wires was hot with a meter.

The yellow and/or the orange wires might be a neutral wire. This would take the place of the white wire on the  old unit. If I was not sure, I would read the diagram pasted on the bottom of the unit to be sure.

I cannot look up the model you gave me, as it is likely not an American mdel

Jeeze upon closer inspection I found the Model No. to be JCP3508V388. My mistake for copying it down wrong the first time. I went on the GE website and found a "use and care" manual but no instruction manual, so it was no help. I hope this update will be of use and sorry for the wrong model number.

Usually they will also have an Installation guide as well. If not, I can't help you.

Mission accomplished, after talking to an electrician from a firm in Charlottetown, who was very helpful and patient. Orange and red connect together and yellow and black connect together. No neutral wire is needed for the hookup so there is no need for a white. I needed the schematic diagram, which was located inside the cooktop. Thanks again for all your suggestions.
