Maytag Neptune model# MAH5500BWW and serial #A5937051CR.
Lr error code (locked rotor) appeared in the display after trying to run a load of clothes. I haven't been able to use the machine since then. Now when I try to do any test the door fails to lock - FL code in display. I'd love to be able to get the water out of the machine!
Here are the diagnostic codes: 10 23 17 10 06. 23.
10 - low rpm unbalanced load
23 - door failed to unlock
17 - door switch not seen open since last final spin
06 - locked rotor
I have a couple questions for now:
Not sure how to remove the motor control board from the plastic cover. Possibly just slide it out? Then I can check it more easily.
How can I run tests when the door fails to lock? I am going up to the States (Arizona) next week and will pick up a decent ohm meter to do more serious testing when I get back.
Or . . . I could just buy a motor conversion kit, install it and see if it works!
If I do that should I just get the motor conversion kit #12002039? The serial number on my machine is A5937051CR. The number on my existing motor control board is #62726410. Motor is #62724140.
Good news is that I just fixed my old Whirlpool direct drive by putting in a new coupler. So I have a washing machine until I get the Neptune back in shape.
Thanks! Hope someone can help! I live in Belize and there are no Maytag repairmen down here.
