Marcone's Parts
« on: December 04, 2008, 03:44:12 PM »
If Marcones ever wants to know why my company never orders anything thru our account, it is because they charged me $18.95 for a friggin' catalog when I first opened my account. Never in my 35 years in the repair business has any vendor ever charged for a book they expect me to buy and sell from!   How absolutely ludicrous.

Now they are calling me wondering what they did to piss me off...hah!  Hope they think long and hard about it...

They have a corner on some parts for some manufacturers in Ca. Things I ordered were in stock on line & backordered when processed, thus a customer expecting the part in a day or so & very upset! Pricing was never what thy claimed to be, so I went back to the local distributor.Good old fashioned service & personal response ,just like my customers expect from me.

I used to order stuff from marcone's pensacola, tampa, and miami outlet. Free shipping for orders over $125.00 and prompt delivery. They always were right on for us. Never had a problem. If you set up an account they give you a pass word and the catalog is on line. We never used no paper catalogs from them ever. Never even had to talk to them for an order. Just went online and ordered a bunch of stuff and Boom it comes UPS usually next day. You can look up parts, hard to find stuff, everthing. Good company.

Marcone is in my opinion the best appliance parts distributor available to me.

Their policy's are clear, they normally have what we need and provide the servicer with a quality service. The pricing is the lowest in the market. They work with the professional instead of against us.

Personally I could not ask for more-They are Great

How long you been working for them, Dave :)
Serously, if they had provided  me with concise links to look up parts and not tried to charge m for a paper catalogue, I might be  inclined to do business with them. I have an open account with 30 day billing, but have not used it for the aforementioned reasons. If their prices are in line with the other distributors I use, maybe theystill have a chance. I'll gladly sell them that catalogue back....

If you would get to know a few of the parts men and work with them on a one to one to basis I am sure that you would be impressed with Marcone and choose to do business with them.

I am going to pass this on-exspect your opinion of Marcone to change.

Don't bother passing it on unless you think something will change...I just re-visited the  link to my site account and looked at some of their so-called  "dealer" prices. They just don't compare to my current suppliers by any means. In fact they are higher than all 3 of my other guys.
