Oven will not bake, if you hit the bake button oven will only broil, broil button works ok. Hit the bake button and the broiler comes on. I think something is something is causing it to default to broil.

Have you been using Self Clean? The heat screws up the controls.

As most of us know who understand the oven controls, your clock is pre-programmed to allow the broil element to be energized during the first preheat cycle, even though Bake is selected. It will drop out of the circuit once the clock beeps at the set temp.

You either have a bad element or a control problem. A simple OHM test of the bake element will confirm which. Get your meter out!
