Electronic oven control failure/ceramic cook top

For about the past six months the display on the oven control panel has been dimming and then going dark.  The stove is 6.5 years young. It seems to only be happening when the oven is on, mostly; or the top rear elements are on. The unit works: beeps for timer, bake, temperature changes etc. but no visible display. The display is visible at all other times. I removed the entire control unit and checked all the connections and screws on the unit, accessing it from the rear of the stove. All OK. Is it time to replace the unit? Please help. Thanks.

Loose neutral wire on the power cord. Tighten em up.

If you cannot find a replacemnt oven clock for it, then you can consider a new unit. You did not provide all of the model number, so we cant say for sure if the clock is still available for your oven, but a new clock is certainly cheaper than replacing a range. When you find all the digits  in your model, type them into the parts lookup above and see which clock yours needs.
