Kenmore He2 problem
« on: November 26, 2008, 02:36:26 PM »
The problem I am having is that all of the lights around the main dial flash and the "add a garment" is lit solid.  It will not do anything.  I had to open up the bottom of the machine and open the door manually because it was locked.

Is there a keypad sequence that I can use to reset this machine or am I out of luck?

Thanks.

Thanks for your help.  Both my husband and I were electricians in the Air Force.  Do you think this is something we can replace ourselves?  Where can we get a CCU for cheap?
Thanks in advance.

Jen did yall try to unplug the unit for 5 minutes?
Did you try unpluging the ccu board for 5 minutes. Clean corrosion off the contacts. Dhecked for loose connections? Sometimes wires come loose.

Yes, it's easy to replace the CCU.
The CCU factory part number is 8540948
Enter that part number in the top left parts search box to find the best price.
