Whirlpool drop in electic range temp. problems

When my range is turned on, it heats just fine. When I turn the heat up or down the temp does not move. I have to turn the oven off and turn it on to the temp I want it at. It started after using the self cleaning cycle. Other than that everything else works perfect. Can you help?

Amy, what JW was getting at is that the  electronic control was likely damaged from the last cleaning episode. You can type your model number into the parts lookup on the left and seek the clock (electronic control ERC) for your model.
