French Door Fridge not making ice.

Our LG LRFC25750SW refrigerator has the Custom Cube icemaker and it is not making ice.  It makes a grinding kind of noise but dispenses no water into the maker.  I have confirmed that there is water making through the supply line as far as the fridge.  We were gone on vacation for a week and had it turned off, since turning it back on it made some ice then it quit.  Advise please.

There wasn't much about this problem in the troubleshooting section.  Do you have any pointers as to how to perform the tests?  Does this sound like a valve problem?  Do the supply lines freeze inside the freezer compartmant?

I replaced the water inlet valve, part # 5220JB2010A


No change.  What is next?  Where does the signal for the valve come from?  Is there an easy test for this?

How do you reset the ejector from the control panel?
Any pointers?

If its like any newer ice maker I have seen , every now and then they get an ice cube stuck in the ejector. You simply get your hair dryer and melt the ice cube and it will come on around and begin production again.
