dryer shuts off after a few minutes. push the button and it come back on then shuts off a few minutes or some time runs fine.

Here's the Manual for your dryer...sounds like a bad connection at the power cord, or the motor is overheating. A bad choice of exhaust  duct or a restricted vent can do this. The warning sign is longer than normal drying times. Remember that Maytag dryers cannot be vented with thin foil or plastic.

I bypassed the door switch and still shuts off, I can hear it trying to shut off and after a few time it will shut off. I cleaned out the exhaust vent going to the celling. It was pretty clogged up. cleaned it from top to bottom. When it shuts off you can push the button and it starts right back but doesn't always stay running very long.

Sadly the motor will probably need to be replaced.

The back of the on off control button gets real hot maybe that is my problem or is it normal for that to get hot.
