GE Profile Ice Maker Freezing over, makes only crushed Ice

I'm a newbie with a first time post. I have a 21.5 CF GE Profile Top-Mount Refrigerator with a through the door ice dispenser.  I recently developed a problem where the dispensing chute outlet and flap ices over so I only get crushed ice, not matter what I select. I have to continuously chip the ice away.  Any suggestion on how to fix this?
