Frigidaire Front loader will not spin

Our front load washer Model FTF2140E0 has stopped spinning. It fills up and washes and everything, it just won't spin. The door locks.  Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Remove the lower front panel and have a look at the tech sheet there. It's in a brown envelope on the right wall, usually.

What you will find will either be a bad Motor, Speed Controller or a bad upper Control Board.

Standard Gallery washers don't have Hall sensors.

We ran test and it gave us Error 47. It says (shorted or open decective door lock reads arounds 1500 OHMS.  Defective control board) We took the door lock assembly out and it read 1484. So could some help me to understand which is part is bad?  Thanks for all the help!

You already solved the puzzle...if the door lock reads 1484 (close enough to 1500), then you have a bad Control Board. The manual gives a 10%+/- tolerance on the reading.

We have installed the Control Board. But I took out the soap drawer and the magnet fell out and we are not sure where it goes.  Any help would be appreciated.

figured out the magnet but washer still will not spin.

What you will find will either be a bad motor speed controller or a bad upper control board.

You maintain that the lock is OK and you replaced the main control board..that only leaves the Motor Speed Board. At least you can return the other one provided you  used Repair Clinic.

I have found that even if the door locks the relay on the door switch gets hot and does not send the signal to the motor control,the machine will do everything but spin,you have a bad Door Lock Switch.
