Whirlpool Roper Washer Wont Spin

My Roper Washer wont spin during the spin cycle.  The motor and pump sound normal (no unusual souunds, etc.) when activated but the drum wont spin leaving the clothes soppy wet.  As per instuctions from the website, I took apart the pump and motor and inspected the motor coupler but it looked to be in good shape (not worn, all teeth intact, etc.).  Any idea why the drum will not spin?

did you remove the motor coupling from the tranny? That end piece cracks and cannot be seen unless the end piece is removed.
