665.1634 Kenmore Quiet Guard Dishwasher

Dishwasher will not start. The only light that will come on is the Cancel light. I can push Cancel and it will want to drain water out (plus the light comes on). There isn't any water in the dishwasher because I can't start the cycle. I have tried pushing the Hi Temp Wash and Dry button over and over like I have read on other sites. Doesn't work. Lock button light is not on.

That would be  bad electronic control. Once you find the complete model number, you can look up your part and fix it.
