Maytag oven preheating problem

We have a nine year old Maytag gas range MGR5729ADA with a RS1 control panel. It has an  
intermittent problem heating up. This happens at all different temps. For example normally it takes 15 min. to get to 450 and other times it takes 45 min.   350 normally takes 5 min. or so and other times take 15 to 20 or more. And help would be appreciated.

Replace the Bake ignitor. They generally last about 5-7 years.

Take a look at you ignitor, if it is as bright as the sun when energized, it probably ok, if it is dim orange when energized then it is weak and in need of replacing. In order to work properly it needs to pull 3.5 amps or better to open the safety valve.
