How to get the front off

There's a sock caught up in the fan and I can't get the front off.  Ideas?

grab hold of the goalpost shaped facing and yank it off. Then you access the holdown of the top. then the top pops up and you can get in side the dryer.

Thanks.  We finally got it.  We needed to get behind it so we could get the top off, take the control panel off, THEN take the front off.  All fixed now.

That is not correct. This is a different type of dryer then I believe you maybe thinking of.

I looked up the model and it had the slope face.

You were correct...you just forgot to mention the hinge screw and hinge cover removal first.
