Maytag Pump Pully

My washer stopped spinning. I looked under the unit and the belt was in tact, but was off. The unit has a three pulley system with one belt.  However, the pulley under the Pump was completely gone, there was a round melted plastic piece under the unit. Do I have to replace the whole pump? Is this a bigger problem than meets the eye? The machine is 3 years old. I also cant get the front cover off, no screws, just 2 clips under front cover. No manual online.
