agitator not spinning

whit:
my agitator on my whirlpool LXR9245EQ1 acts as if it is slipping out of a groove it will not agitate all the time. Looking for a little guidance.  Thxs

If the bottom part is going back and fourth but the top part is not going to the right and growling you be needing some new dogs for the top of the agitator... :)
