control panel clock and oven will not work

The control panel clock does not light. Nor do the small red lights that are next to controls and would show that a burner is on. The burners do work though. However, when I open the oven door the oven light blinks and the the clock lights up and I am able to set oven temp and clock. When I close the door the control panel lights go out. Oven does not start unless the door is kept open. The same thing happens when I flip on the oven light switch that is located on top of oven. Everything will work. The oven will work if I keep the inner oven light on constantly. There are no error codes. Does anyone have an idea what is wrong?

I think you have a couple of loose screws ... on the back of the Oven.

Unplug the Oven cord and tighten the (3) nuts on the Terminal Strip.

If that didn't fix it you may have a loose neutral,in your stove or in the wall. Have seen many of both.

Thank you both for your quick responses. My wife got a chuckle from RegUS_PatOff when he mentioned I might have a couple of loose screws....

I checked for any loose screws on the back and everything semed to be tight so I then began checking the neutral wiring and that was where the problem was. The neutral wiring was loose in the wall receptacle.

All is good again!!!
