Whirlpool washer overflowing

This washer will not stop filling with water.  I tried all size loads and it just continues to fill.  I can manually advance the timer and it will not go into agitate mode.  I can hear the timer working.  I can advance timer to spin mode and it goes into that mode just fine.  We found out the washer had a problem when the water was overflowing and ruined our floors.  Please help.

check to see if the Pressure Hose came off the Water Level Switch inside the Control Panel, part # W10339229

Trash is in the tube that goes from the tub up to the water level selection switch. Simply remove the hose from that switch and blow the trash out of it, put the hose back snug on the switch, pump out the water and retry.
