Frigidaire Dishwasher bad circulation motor???

I have a Frigidair dishwasher that is leaving crud on the dishes.  Especially on the top level.  I took the washer out where I could see the water hose along the back and water was not going to the top sprayer.  I hit it a lillte with my fist and then the water will go up into the sprayer.

I am thinking that maybe the motor is going and not putting out the RPM's?  Or maybe the water level is too low?

Any suggestions?
