KitchenAid Side by SIde Ice Dispenser issues and water

Hi, If the water is not being dispensed when you push the dispencer does the water valve need to be replaced......the ice maker is working though.
Second issue is when you try to dispence ice, there is no ice being dispenced even though its full of ice.  Does the motor need to be replaced or the solenoid? How do I tell

Thanks for the info Repair-Man....After completing the Test the water dispencer started working once again but no luck with the ice dispencer.
Making  ice is no problem but when dispencing ice the solenoid does not kick in (open the hatch of the ice maker) nor does the auger turn to push the ice out!
The test says that while holding the the doorswitch of the refrigerator door down and dispencing ice, it should turn indicator to red (the filter indicator) This does not happen.....Not sure what conclusion to make since the watervalves are both working because ice is continiously made

So much more the water dispencer working...its dead once again!!! Any Recomendations?

Start looking for a new board for the dispenser.
