washer stopped in the middle of a cycle and won't start again

the fuse is good.
In fact I pulled off the white wires and jumped them together just to make sure the fuse is good and still nothing.  Double checked the power, and dryer works fine.

So the next step is to replace the pressure switch?  any test I can do before ordering that part?

the next thing you need to check is the water valve, part # 22002360

ok i will go check out both of the valves.  I mean I do have the setting on "WARM"
so even if I got unlucky that one valve goes, shouldn't the other one still open and let water in?  What would be the chance that both valves goes at the same time?

It happens, I have asked custs about it and they would say something to the effect of: Well you know hot died a long time ago but I just used cold till it finally died. I am like well when was you gonna inform me about this?
I have had folks bring me a heat strip with all the coils gone. Guys will say well it don't get that cold down here and yeah it didn't heat all tha well but hay when it finally stopped altogether....Like well that old water fountain thingy died years ago but we still had ice....

Tested both valves with the power off for continuity which I got.
Tested both valves with the power on at 120V and the meter reads nothing.

Which leads me to believe that no power is going to those valves.

What to test next?

Might be the water temp switch or it could be the water level switch, It could very well be in the timer. This is a real wam doozy you got going here. Go back to that cherry switch make sure them connections is tight and it is positioned exactly where it should be so that the strike hits it perfectly. That dang switch arm can get out of alignment

man what luck.  After 2 weeks I get the damn thing working again.
Problem was a bad black cherry lid switch that I got new. 

I went out and got a voltage sensor.  I put the sensor next to the wire harness when I pull the timer switch to turn the washer on, the voltage sensor went off.  So I know the timer is good.  I than left the timer on, and move the sensor around, the only area that had power is the lid area.  No power near the fill switch or the pressure switch. 

I pull both of the lid switch out and tested them with my multimeter.   It turns out that the new black switch is no good, so I just jump the two wires, one pink and the other orange together with a wire nut and the washer came back to life!

I guess just because the part is new, it does not mean it is not DOA.
Thanks for the help!  I was going to call in the Maytag repair guy on Monday if I could not get the thing working this weekend.
