washer stopped in the middle of a cycle and won't start again

Hello.  I am looking for a repair manual for LSG7806AAE.
The washer stopped in the middle of a cycle.  there is still water inside of the unit right now.  Unit has power since the dryer above works fine.

Was told there is a fuse and that maybe it.
Where can I find this fuse?  and where can I buy the replacement fuse?

Test the lid switch. Got your OHM meter handy? There must be 10 or so posts here about this issue, so read a little more on the forum.

Thanks for the manual.  I did read up on other posts regarding the lid switch. 
I have some follow up questions.

1.  I tried to pull the lid off without luck.  I assume I have to drain the water my self and pull the washer unit forward so i can remove the entire top lid?  Than I can get access to that damn lid switch.

2.  I assume there are only 2 wires leading up to the lid switch.  If so can I just jump them together and never have to deal with this damn switch again?

Your answers:

1. Front panel removal is on Page 7 of the above manual. Had you read it you would know you don't have to move or drain anything.

2. Yes, it's your washer. If you want to bypass the lid switch permanently, byall means please do. Just know that it is dangerous to do this, and you didn't hear it from me.

on your machine there is a fuse assy. on the inside of the cabinet.. its located under your pressure switch which is located on the front left side of your machine...if your lid switch checks good this fuse is a good second place to look-if its blown. just match up the watts and volts when replacing

ok so I read some more of the "lid switch" posts.  And unlike other people my unit does not even fill it with water. I drained the washer it by removing the black hose that carry the bleach into a 5gal bucket.

I removed the front panel, than the 2 screws holding the top panel.
Pull the top panel off and found the lid switches.  I got 2 of them? 

Both are made by "Cherry"
first switch black has 2 wire leads, pink and orange. link to pic here

the second switch is a white switch with 3 leads, white, black, orange pic here

I am think I will just replace both switches they can't be that much $.  Where can I get these switches? 

There is a small fuse on the left side of the washer, but it is good.
I guess I will start by replacing these 2 switches first and hope it will bring the unit back to life.

well since everything is open anything else I should check beside those 2 switches?

If the fuse is blown then the water will not come in. The cherry switch is probably good.. The white micro switch is what gives the most problemas in these here washers in spin cycle. It is called a CHECK switch. Replace that baby!

the door fuse is good.  I ordered both switches they are cheap enough.  I don't want to deal with opening and have the wifey on my back.

The white switch is dead for sure.  The little RED thing is now inside of the switch.  It does not even pop back out anymore.

The black switch I test it with my muiltmeter I am getting no continuity with or without the white button pressed in.

Wow both switches bad ...wifey musta been having a bad day and slammed dat lid down. Ouch! Or it could be that the washer is old as I am;
Today is my birthday BTW. The wife bought me a thick T-bone steak to burn on my grill.

Damn it

replaced both switches today and nothing.  The water won't even fill.
Any suggestion on what to check or replace next?

If the water won't fill check that fuse. If it is open the water won't fill.

its the fuse under the pressure switch

I searched all around and there is only one fuse I can see on this unit.

It is part #3.

Where else could a fuse be hiding?

Look at the diagram
 The fuse is in line with the water valve. If the water don't come in nothing else will happen.Note: click on the diagram and it will magically git bigger. According to the diagram white wires go to the fuse. If number 3 has white wires a goin to it AND the fuse is OPEN den you is on da rite track Kimosabe.If you will notice the white wire goes to both the hot and cold side of the water valve. This white wire is known in the business as "COMMON". If the fuse is blown then naturally nothing else is gonna hapen because the pressure switch has got to be satisfied and theonly way to do that is fer the water to fill the tub and put pressure in the tube that goes to the water level switch, Once the water level is high enough the pressure diaphram inside the switch clicks over the common wire to the motor and she starts a washin away.
