Parts help
« on: October 19, 2008, 11:34:55 AM »
Hi, I have a Thermador WO16A wall oven that is not controlling temperature.  It goes up to about 450 and will not control at any other temp.  I figured the thermostat is bad since there is really not any other related parts in there.  But, I am having trouble locating one to replace it.  Any help?  Thanks

If you'll kindly post the complete model number and whatever serial number is stamped on the oven, I have sources for Thermador parts which may be obsolete. Already tried using the numbers you provided to no result.

Make note of any dashes in the model (WO-16A, etc)

I found the model on the circuit diagram on the side.  The original plate inside the door frame is destroyed.  It may have dashes like you describe as WO-16A.  Thanks for your help

I just happen to have this model of Thermador oven that I am about to post for sale on Craigslist and I checked the ID plate for the model number and it is: WO-16A. Hope this helps.

I'm curious about the oven you are getting rid of.  Does it work ok?  What CL site are you listing it in?  Thanks

We live in Fullerton, CA but I may post it in Los Angeles.  As far as I know it still works.  All the appliances passed inspection before we purchased this house and I believe we turned it on once.  We haven't actually used the wall oven or the cooktop ourselves as we completely remodeled the house in 2001-2002 before we moved in.  The stove and cooktop have been in our garage since 2002.

The oven looks great.  What will you take for it?  and I can arrange shipping to Denver.  Thanks

How about $150? But, how would you arrange packing and shipping?
