GE JVM1950SR1SS

I hate working on microwaves just to be upfront.  I have a turntable motor that isn't working and immediately went for a motor replacement.  Had my meter on the lines and it's reading the proper 20vac, but with the motor connected I get nothing. Voltage drops completely.  All the switches and thermostats/fuses are good and the wires have continuity.  One goes to the board and the other goes to the internal fan which then goes somewhere else...I forget.  The wires under load show proper voltage so I think the wires are good.  I even checked each wire for continuity to ground and they showed open.  Any ideas?

The 21 volts AC to the turntable motor is supplied by the fan motor. It's a "trans-motor" that steps the 120 Volts AC down to 21. The control board switches the neutral off and on to the motor. So.. if you've replaced the motor and checked the wiring and fuses, all that's left is the fan motor or the control board.

Any idea why it would only fail under load?

Maybe a bad connection in the trans-motor winding or in the control board?

Do you have the tech sheet by chance?

Tech sheet typically tucked in at the bottom of the control panel.
