lint shute

Does anyone know how to remove the lint shute on a kenmore Dryer? The foam seal needs to be replaced.

shute, shoot, chute....

If by "lint chute" you are referring to the filter housing, all you do is take out the 2 screws  under the coverplate on top, then go around back and take out 4 more holding the housing on. It helps to have the main top raised up  so the  housing can be easily manipulated.

2 bulkhead screws on the right hand side of the  part need to be removed also. Some of them MIGHT come out the back but most of them need to be yanked out the top.
