Fibric softener dispenser

I want clean the Fibric softener dispenser. How can I take it off? twist or just pull it out?

Any help is appreciated!

I downloaded that manual and read it. I want say..... I am still not clear how to do that "unsnapping". I twisted it, pulled it, wigwaged it. No thing happen. Any detail about how to it? Thanks again!
