WHIRLPOOL REFRIGERATOR

CAN ANYONE TELL ME IF THE CONDENSOR FAN BLOWS AIR OR PULL AIR OVER THE COILS IN THE BOTTOM OF THIS MODEL OF WHIRLPOOL??? I REPLACE THE FAN BUT HAVE A FEELING THEY GAVE ME THE WRONG PART...

The way your model is set up, having the drain pan on the right, indicates the air goes into the coils on the left side of the front, circulates across the compressor, then comes out on the right side of the front. Aiflow from the fan blades should be directed at the compressor.


Your old motor is labeled CW or CCW depending on rotation. (i.e. 3Watt/CCW)

If that motor is blowing backwards just reverse it.

        never grow rusty.

If the motor can be taken apart you can turn the stack around and it will turn the opposite direction. Whichever side the copper is on, the blade will turn the opposite way from.

OK I gotta admit you cannot reverse a condenser motor. I was enjoyony Florida beating the heck outta LSU> What was it 50 to nothing?
