Thanks for the info and video. I took the dryer apart today and the gas guy, who installed the orifice without taking the dryer apart put in the 3/64th orifice; the one for LP Butane. I would not have thought to check this if you hadn't got me thinking about the kit, so a HUGE thanks to you!
Now the flame looks entirely different, but it is shutting down after a couple of minutes, so I think the gas valve coils need to be replaced. While the flame was on, I checked the exhaust heat and it was still barely reaching 120 degrees on high, no load in the dryer, on timed dry.
