Our Samsung was turning on, but then would shut off during a cycle after 3-4 minutes. Had the appliance guy come out and work for NO KIDDING 30 seconds to tell me that the control board has a loose connection. He unplugged it. Plugged it back in. 30 seconds. $84. He says that if we still have trouble to call him out again and he'll have to replace the control board.
The next day, it's still doing it. So I buy a used control board. Install it. It fixes it.
Next day, it runs but no heat.
I take it apart, test for resistance, it's the heater element. I take it out. Verify that is it is indeed broken. buy a new one. Install it. Yea! It's fixed. It's producing heat! It runs.
While it's still running, I slide it over 6 inches and it turns off.
I cannot get it to power on again.
Nothing I do works.
I've taken it apart and tested for resistance. Nothing is coming up. Belt is fine. I'm trying to use THIS
but I can't get any power so it doesn't really work.
I tried to use the troubleshooting guide from HERE
but it's schematic doesn't seem the same. I don't know what the "housing connection" is but they look fine and I tried to test them for juice but was having a hard time getting a significant reading.
I got a 1.8 volts on the blue/black wire connection thing. I couldn't get a reading on the other brown/black wires but from touching it I can tell you that it was receiving electricity.
I don't know what to do. Super frustrated. If I can fix this on my own I'd really like to. I just don't know where to go from here other than asking for help or paying for the appliance guy to come back.
