As far as checking the element, you can ohm it out or do an amp draw

I checked the ohm load, the heating element is good, i put in the new thermostat. Also installed the new thermal fuse. I suspect i just got a bad connection last time with the other thermal fuse. Im putting the unit back under the counter now. Will let you guys now of any issues.

Lol, ok so now it's melted thru a third thermal fuse.

So, up to speed, i replaced the thermal fuse a third time, also replaced the hi limit thermostat. Also tested the heating element. All was good. I then turned the power back on and it started right up in heated dry mode. Ok fine, i replaced thermo and heating element is testing good. Then ran a load of dishes thru it. All is good. So maybe 6 days later and one load of dishes per day, it died again tonight. Dead again it what is likely the heated dry mode. Wth?!?!?!

Is there anything else i can try?
Thanks!

Btw, its full of water so maybe it wasnt in heated dry? It obviously didn't drain.

Maybe the control is holding the heater on too long? Or maybe the thermal fuse is getting heat from the control or surroundings?

Whenever I have a thermal fuse fail repeatedly, I replace the complete wire harness. Seems to fix the problem.

Thanks guys for the feedback.

I' ll order up a wiring harness along with another thermal fuse. Is there anything or anyway I can check the control board? I'll also double check for any visible signs of anything awry.

Thanks again for your help.
