F5 code on GE oven

I hope you can help.

I went to preheat the oven tonight and received an F5 code.  Used the oven yesterday without a problem.   I attempted to set the oven at 350 degrees and after about a minute the F5 code flashes.  I attempted to turn the breaker off for a full five minutes and then try to the oven again.  Nothing!  The oven light works and the cooktop works fine. I also tried the broiler, and the same thing happens as when I try to preheat oven.  What can I do?

F5 indicates the control felt a loss of power. I generally check the oven sensor for resistance (1040-1090 Ohms @ 77⁰F). If the sensor is within normal limits, the control is bad.

Sometimes just unplugging the sensor quick connect and cleaning the corrosion in it fixs the problem.
