Dryer ruins clothes!

Our dryer, a Frigidaire Model FEQ1442ES0, gets clothing caught in both the the tiny gap between the (somewhat) flush mounted interior light and the interior wall.  

Clothing also regularly gets caught between the interior wall and the drum, directly above the (somewhat) flush mounted interior light.

In either instance, the clothing gets destroyed, and it's typically one of my wife's thin, silky things getting ruined so I hear about it  

Do I need to call for service?  Is there something I can do?  Thanks!

Probably your seal needs replacement but maybe your dryer drum glides have failed. Inspect the front by starting here with removing the top by pushing in on them clips as seen here:

That will get ya sos ya can remove the front panel and look at these glides right here:

Go ahead and get out the drum while you have the front off and inspect the rear bearing. DO NOT REMOVE ANY SCREWS FROM INSIDE THE DRUM!!. Take the idler loose after getting the wife to make a mental note of how it was on there, then bet her she can't figure out how it went just fer laughs! After you have the idler loose just grab the belt on top of the drum and use it as a handle to yank upwards and go outwards after you have removed that pesky yellow mechanic stopper mounted at the 12 oclock position near the front.
