  What does indoor ice maker mean.  I have ice maker with problems and does in the door mean it is made in the door or just dispenses in the door?  My maker is not in the door.

Indoor ice maker has the ice storage container on the inside of the freezer door.

Check the temperature of your freezer. Make sure your freezer is 0-5 deg. F

If your freezer temperature is ok then you will need to replace the ice maker.

Buying a module is around as much almost as a new ice maker. Why would you get one only to have the mold heater or mold thermostat go out and dump more money in it? It makes more sense these days to just bite the bullet and get a new IM.
