This is an Amana unit which uses a control damper as pictured below to let air into the fresh food section. It is located in the top left corner of the refrigerator side. If this damper is stuck or not operating properly, freezeing air can enter thru the
lower return air grille from the freezer and cause temps to be too cold. You can look up the part number for the control damper assembly by typing your model into the parts lookup above. Also be sure the temperature controls are not turned up too cold. The target temperature is 0 degrees in the freezer, 38 in the FF section. The cold control on this unit should not be turned up past midway, or it might start freezing things.
